DESCRIPTION
The 8465-CHR-U500 is a 5-conductor 18 AWG electronic cable featuring tinned copper conductors with PVC insulation and outer jacket, designed for low-voltage analog signals, control circuits, and audio applications. The cable has a nominal outer diameter of 0.282 inches with a 0.033-inch jacket wall thickness, and each conductor is insulated with 0.0175-inch PVC. Electrical characteristics include a nominal DC resistance of 6.3 Ohm/1000 ft, capacitance of 26 pF/ft, and a maximum recommended current of 4 amps per conductor at 25°C, with a UL voltage rating of 300 V. The cable operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C and meets UL AWM 2598, CMG, and IEC 60332-1-2 flammability standards.
