DESCRIPTION
The 68WR500KLF is a 3/8" square multiturn cermet trimming potentiometer designed for precision resistance adjustment applications. It features a nominal 500 kO resistance value with ±10% tolerance, 20 turns of electrical travel, and a maximum power rating of 0.5 watts at 85°C. The device operates over a wide temperature range from -55°C to +125°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, and is sealed with 85°C Fluorinert for protection against moisture and environmental contaminants. With its essentially infinite resolution, low contact resistance variation (1% or 1 Ohm maximum), and robust mechanical design featuring clutch-action stops at both ends, this potentiometer is ideal for precision calibration, signal conditioning, and tuning applications in industrial instrumentation, test equipment, and control systems.
