DESCRIPTION

The 79-1413-12-05 is an M9 male cable connector from the series 702 subminiature connector line, featuring 5 contacts with shielding and a moulded termination on a 2 m polyurethane (PUR) cable. It is rated for 125 V nominal with a 1500 V rated impulse voltage and carries 3.0 A per contact, with an insulation resistance of =10¹° O and IP67 degree of protection. The connector uses a screw locking system with the shield connected to the threaded ring, operates across -25 °C to 70 °C (fixed cable: -50 °C to 90 °C; moving cable: -25 °C to 90 °C), and supports bending radii of =5× diameter (fixed) and =10× diameter (moving) with over 2 million bending cycles. The cable features 5 conductors of 0.25 mm² (AWG 24) cross-section, is halogen-free, and is commonly used in plant engineering, control systems, and electrical equipment construction where reliable, sealed connectivity is required.
