DESCRIPTION

The 2063-60-ALF is a high-current 2-electrode gas discharge tube designed for surge protection in telecommunications and industrial equipment. It features a DC sparkover voltage of 600 V at 100 V/s, with impulse sparkover ratings of less than 1100 V at 100 V/µs and less than 1300 V at 1000 V/µs, providing reliable overvoltage protection across varying transient conditions. The device is housed in a compact 11.8 mm diameter, 17 mm length package and delivers exceptional surge handling with a 100 kA maximum impulse discharge current (8/20 µs) and 60 kA nominal alternating discharge current capability. Additional key characteristics include an insulation resistance greater than 1 GO, glow voltage of approximately 70 V at 10 mA, arc voltage of approximately 10 V at 1 A, and operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The 2063-60-ALF is RoHS compliant and UL recognized, making it ideal for protecting sensitive telecommunications and industrial electronics from transient overvoltages and surge events.
