DESCRIPTION
The 3059J-1-503 is a Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for precision resistance adjustment in industrial and sealed applications. This multiturn cermet potentiometer features a 50 kO standard resistance value with ±10% tolerance, infinite resolution, and 22 turns of effective travel for fine adjustment control. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, and provides 1.0 watt power rating at 70°C with dielectric strength of 900 VAC at sea level. The 3059J style incorporates solderable printed circuit pins with flexible leads, a 5.0 oz-in maximum torque adjustment, and meets MIL-PRF-22097 specifications with U.L. 94V-0 flammability rating. This potentiometer is ideal for circuit calibration, signal conditioning, and precision tuning applications in instrumentation, telecommunications, and industrial control systems.
