DESCRIPTION

The 3059Y-1-500LF is a Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for precision resistance adjustment in industrial applications. This multiturn cermet potentiometer features a 500-ohm resistance value with ±10% standard tolerance, infinite resolution, and 22 turns of effective travel for fine adjustment control. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, and is rated for 1.0 watt power dissipation at 70°C with a maximum voltage of 400 volts. The 3059Y style incorporates flexible leads (7 strands of 30 AWG), solderable printed circuit pins, and RoHS-compliant 100% tin plating (LF termination), making it suitable for sealed panel-mount applications in instrumentation, signal conditioning, and calibration circuits where reliable long-term performance and environmental resistance are required.
