DESCRIPTION
The 3266W-1-500LF is a 1/4" square Trimpot trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for precision resistance adjustment in industrial applications. This multiturn cermet potentiometer features a 500 ohm resistance value with ±10% tolerance, infinite resolution, and 12 turns of effective travel for fine adjustment. The device incorporates solderable pins with 100% tin-plated (RoHS-compliant) termination, sealed construction with standoffs for thorough PCB washing, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C. Key electrical characteristics include 1,000 megohms minimum insulation resistance at 500 VDC, 600 VAC dielectric strength at sea level, and a maximum power rating of 0.25 watts at 70°C. The potentiometer is ideal for calibration, tuning, and adjustment applications in instrumentation, audio equipment, and industrial control systems where precise, stable resistance values are required.
