DESCRIPTION

The 3309W-1-205 is a 9 mm round single-turn cermet trimming potentiometer (Trimpot) manufactured by Bourns with a resistance value of 2 megohms. It features single-side (front) adjustment with a cross-slot design, horizontal and vertical mounting styles, and dust-resistant/splash-resistant covers for industrial open-frame applications. The device offers a resistance tolerance of ±25% standard, essentially infinite resolution, and an adjustment angle of 235° nominal with a mechanical angle of 260° ±10°. Operating specifications include a power rating of 0.5 watt at 70°C, temperature range from -25°C to +100°C, and a temperature coefficient of ±250 ppm/°C, making it suitable for precision trimming and calibration applications in industrial electronics. The potentiometer features solderable pins, operates with a maximum torque of 5 oz-in, and is RoHS compliant, though this series is now obsolete and not recommended for new designs.
