DESCRIPTION
The 3549H-1AA-502B is a 10-turn precision potentiometer featuring a Hybritron element with a 5K ohm resistance value and 0.20% independent linearity. It offers an effective electrical angle of 3600° ±10°, -0° with a total resistance tolerance of ±10% and essentially infinite resolution. The potentiometer features high rotational life, low backlash of 1.0° maximum, and is suitable for use under some side load conditions with a maximum shaft side load of 250 gm (8.8 ozf) when equipped with a stainless steel shaft and bronze bushing. It is designed for HMI and MMI applications, with optional dual gang and servo mount configurations available, and includes gold-plated solder lugs for reliable electrical connections. The device is RoHS compliant and operates with a maximum wiper current of 10 mA at 5K ohms, making it ideal for precision instrumentation, control systems, and applications requiring accurate position feedback.
