DESCRIPTION

The 3549H-1AC-102B is a 10-turn precision potentiometer featuring a Hybritron element with a resistance value of 1K ohms and independent linearity of ±0.2% (with optional 0.1% maximum practical linearity). It offers an effective electrical angle of 3600° ±10°, -0° with a total resistance tolerance of ±10% and essentially infinite resolution. The potentiometer is rated for 2 watts at +70°C and features a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1,000 VAC minimum with insulation resistance of 1,000 megohms minimum. Mechanically, it provides a backlash of 1.0° maximum, stop strength of 53 N-cm (75 oz-in.) minimum, and running torque of 0.5 N-cm (0.7 oz-in.) maximum, with shaft runout of 0.08 mm (0.003 in.) T.I.R. The device is RoHS compliant and features gold-plated solder lugs, making it suitable for HMI and MMI applications where precision control, high rotational life, and reliable performance under side load conditions are required.
