DESCRIPTION

3856A-282-104AL is a 3/4" (19.05 mm) diameter 3-3/4-turn cermet element panel control potentiometer designed for precision adjustment applications. It features a 100 kO resistance value with a linear taper and ±10% tolerance, utilizing a plain 3/8" (9.53 mm) bushing (Type A) and a 7/8" (22.20 mm) long x 1/4" (6.35 mm) diameter slotted shaft. The mechanical angle is 1350° ±50° with a starting and running torque of 0.11 to 2.12 N-cm (0.15 to 3.0 oz.-in.) and a stop strength of 56.5 N-cm (5 lb.-in.). This RoHS compliant potentiometer weighs a maximum of 30 grams and is suitable for panel-mounted control applications requiring fine resolution and wide resistance range adjustment.
