DESCRIPTION
The 53CAA-E28-D13L is a sealed 1/2" (12.5 mm) square potentiometer control manufactured by Bourns for professional audio applications. It features conductive plastic or cermet resistive elements available in both linear and audio tapers, with resistance ranges from 150 ohms to 1 megohm depending on the element type. The potentiometer is sealed for board washing, includes a metal bushing and shaft, and supports both PC board and bushing mounting configurations with gangable capability. It offers total resistance tolerance of ±5% to ±20% depending on taper type and element material, with independent linearity of ±5% and an effective electrical angle of 270° ±5°. This sealed design and robust construction make it ideal for professional audio equipment, mixing consoles, and other applications requiring reliable, washable potentiometer controls.
