DESCRIPTION
The 53UAD-T22-B18L is a sealed 1/2" (12.5 mm) square control potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for PC board and bushing mount applications. It features conductive plastic or cermet resistive elements with both linear and audio taper options, offering resistance ranges from 1 kO to 1 MO for conductive plastic and 150 O to 1 MO for cermet variants. The potentiometer is gangable, sealed for board washing, and includes a metal bushing and shaft for robust mechanical integration. With total resistance tolerance of ±10% or ±20% for linear tapers and ±10% or ±20% for audio tapers, plus independent linearity of ±5%, this component is well-suited for audio equipment, industrial controls, and consumer electronics requiring sealed, reliable variable resistance control.
