DESCRIPTION
The 5900-181-RC is a high-current choke from Bourns' 5900 Series, designed for EMI filtering and power supply applications requiring high inductance values. It features an inductance of 180 µH at 1 kHz (±10%), a DC resistance of 0.140 O maximum, and a self-resonant frequency of 2.20 MHz. The choke is constructed with a ferrite bobbin core and is rated for a saturation current of 2.7 A and a continuous rated current of 1.7 A, with VW-1 rated shrink tubing covering the winding for safety.
