DESCRIPTION
The 96A1A-B28-A15L is a Model 96 single-turn sealed panel control potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, featuring a 5/8" square sealed design with virtually infinite electrical circuit isolation. This unit is configured with a metal shaft (type G: slotted 1/4" diameter), a 150 ohm linear cermet element with ±5% tolerance, and an anti-rotation lug (single 0.305" radius at 90° CW). The potentiometer operates with an effective electrical angle of 240° ± 5° for linear tapers, an independent linearity of ±5%, and an absolute minimum resistance of 2 ohms maximum. The device is sealed for board wash and RoHS compliant, making it suitable for industrial control panels, audio equipment, and instrumentation applications where reliable, sealed operation and precise resistance control are required.
