DESCRIPTION

AA85AB0 is a miniature thermal cutoff (TCO) device designed for overtemperature and overcurrent protection in lithium polymer and prismatic battery cells. It features a trip temperature of 85 °C ± 5 °C, high current capacity with low impedance, and the ability to control abnormal excessive current virtually instantaneously up to rated limits. The device operates over an application temperature range of -30 °C to +100 °C and is RoHS compliant and halogen-free. It is commonly used for battery cell protection in notebook PCs, tablet PCs, and smart phones, providing reliable thermal protection and instantaneous current control for portable electronic devices.
