DESCRIPTION

The CR0402-FX-2101GLF is a thick film chip resistor designed for general-purpose applications in compact surface-mount circuits. It features a 1/16 W power rating at 70 °C, a maximum working voltage of 50 V, and a maximum overload voltage of 100 V. The resistor offers tight tolerance of the bottom electrode width with 1% and 5% tolerance options, and incorporates a three-layer termination process with nickel barrier to prevent leaching and ensure excellent solderability. It operates across a temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C with a temperature coefficient of ±500 ppm/°C (1% tolerance) and is rated for a maximum overload current of 2.5 A. The device is RoHS compliant, supplied in tape and reel packaging, and is commonly used in consumer electronics, industrial control, and telecommunications equipment where space constraints and cost efficiency are priorities.
