DESCRIPTION
The EM14C0D-E24-L064S is a 14 mm rotary optical encoder with integrated push switch designed for human-machine interface (HMI) applications. This encoder features 64 pulses per revolution (PPR) resolution with 2-bit quadrature code output, a supply voltage of 5.0 VDC ± 0.25 VDC, and a maximum supply current of 26 mA. The device incorporates a splashproof shaft seal, HCMOS/CMOS/TTL compatible outputs with rise/fall times of 200 ns typical, and output voltage specifications of 800 mV maximum low and 4.0 VDC minimum high per channel. The encoder is available with a 1/4" diameter flatted end shaft (E24 designation) at 3/4" length, mounted via a C-style 1/4" diameter threaded bushing with standard push switch option. This compact, RoHS-compliant encoder is ideal for audio equipment, industrial controls, and consumer electronics requiring reliable rotational feedback and user input integration.
