DESCRIPTION
GMOV-20D321K is a 20 mm hybrid protection component that combines Bourns' patented GDT with FLAT technology and a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) for superior surge protection. It features a maximum operating voltage (MCOV) of 320 Vrms, MOV voltage of 510 V (±10%), and GDT DC breakdown voltage of 500 V (475–650 V range). The device offers bidirectional protection with low leakage (< 1 µA), low capacitance, and an energy rating of 360 J at 8/20 µs. With a protection level of 1,300 V and clamp voltage of 875 V, it is UL Type 5 recognized and compliant with UL 1449 4th Edition. This component is ideally suited for AC and DC power applications including solar inverters, power supplies, white goods, and SPD systems where long-life protection with high performance is required.
