DESCRIPTION
The MF-LS340 is a PTC resettable fuse designed to provide overcurrent protection with a 100 °C trip temperature for enhanced protection at elevated ambient temperatures. It features a maximum voltage rating of 24 V, maximum current of 100 A, and a hold current of 3.4 A with a trip current of 6.8 A at 23 °C. The device exhibits low initial resistance ranging from 0.016 to 0.027 ohms and a post-trip resistance of 0.050 ohms maximum, with a maximum time to trip of 5.0 seconds. The MF-LS340 is fully compatible with industry standards, features weldable nickel terminals, and is RoHS compliant with cUL and TÜV certifications. It is commonly used in rechargeable battery pack protection, cellular phones, and laptop computers where extra protection at elevated temperatures is required.
