DESCRIPTION
MF-USML190-2 is a low-ohmic PTC resettable fuse from Bourns' MF-USML series designed for thermal and overcurrent protection in compact electronic devices. This surface mount component features a 1210 footprint with ultra-low resistance of 0.0060 Ohms at 23°C, a hold current (Ihold) of 1.90 A, and a trip current (Itrip) of 4.90 A, providing reliable protection without excessive voltage drop. The device is rated for a maximum voltage of 6 V and maximum current of 50 A, with a maximum time to trip of 9.5 seconds at 3.00 A and typical tripped power dissipation of 0.8 W at 23°C. It is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and features ENIG-plated terminals for automated assembly. The MF-USML190-2 is commonly used for thermal protection in Li-ion and polymer battery packs, USB port protection (USB 2.0, 3.0, and OTG), mobile phones, digital cameras, game consoles, and PC motherboards, offering space-constrained applications a compact, low-profile solution with excellent thermal stability across the operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
