DESCRIPTION

MH1608-101Y is a high-current chip ferrite bead from Bourns' MH Series designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression on power supply lines, IC power lines, and signal lines. The device features an impedance of 100 O ±25% at 100 MHz with a maximum DC resistance of 40 mO and a maximum DC current rating of 3.0 A, enabling effective noise filtering in compact surface-mount applications. The ferrite core with silver or silver/palladium external conductor and silver/nickel/tin terminals provides excellent resistance to heat, humidity, mechanical shock, and pressure. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with RoHS compliance and halogen-free construction, the MH1608-101Y is ideal for high-density PCB designs requiring reliable EMI filtering with minimal footprint and automatic surface-mounting capability.
