DESCRIPTION
MH2029-101Y is a high-current chip ferrite bead from Bourns' MH Series designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression on power supply lines, IC power lines, and signal lines. The device features an impedance of 100 O ±25% at 100 MHz with a maximum DC resistance of 100 mO and a maximum DC current rating of 2.0 A, making it suitable for high-frequency noise filtering applications. The ferrite core with silver or silver/palladium external conductor and silver/nickel/tin terminals provides excellent thermal and mechanical stability, with operating temperatures ranging from -55°C to +125°C. The component is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, demonstrating high resistance to heat, humidity, mechanical shock, and pressure. Its accurate dimensions (2.0 mm × 1.2 mm × 0.9 mm) enable reliable automatic surface mounting, making it ideal for compact PCB designs requiring efficient EMI mitigation.
