DESCRIPTION

MH2029-800Y is a high-current chip ferrite bead from Bourns' MH Series designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression on power supply lines, IC power lines, and signal lines. The component features an impedance of 80 O ±25% at 100 MHz with a maximum DC resistance of 40 mO and a maximum DC current rating of 3.0 A. It exhibits high resistance to heat and humidity, resistance to mechanical shock and pressure, and accurate dimensions optimized for automatic surface mounting. The ferrite core is constructed with silver or silver/palladium external conductors and silver/nickel/tin terminals, operating reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. This component is RoHS compliant and halogen free, making it suitable for modern electronic applications requiring reliable EMI filtering with high current handling capability.
