DESCRIPTION

PEC12R-4215F-S0024 is a 12 mm incremental rotary encoder designed for audio-visual equipment, consumer appliances, musical instrumentation, and communications equipment. This encoder features a horizontal mount configuration with axial PC pins and no bushing, an insulated flatted shaft of 20.0 mm length, and delivers 24 pulses per 360° rotation with 2-bit quadrature code output. The integrated push momentary switch (SPST) provides a contact rating of 10 mA at 5 VDC with a switch travel of 0.5 ± 0.3 mm and actuation force of 610 ± 306 gf. Operating continuously across a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C with an insulation resistance of 10 megohms at 250 VDC, this encoder offers compact design, long life, and high reliability for level control, tuning, and timer settings in professional audio and consumer applications.
