DESCRIPTION

PM3316-6R8M-RC is a surface-mount power inductor from the PM3316 series designed for input/output filtering in DC/DC converters and power supplies for portable communication equipment, camcorders, and LCD TVs. The inductor features a 6.8 µH inductance at 1 kHz with ±20% tolerance, a low profile of 5.0 mm maximum height, and a self-resonant frequency (SRF) minimum of 31 MHz. It has a DC resistance (RDC) of 0.030 O, a maximum RMS current rating of 3.4 A, and a typical saturation current of 4.5 A, with a quality factor (Q) of 50 at 3 MHz test frequency. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a maximum temperature rise of 15°C at rated current, and is RoHS compliant. This compact inductor is ideal for high-frequency power conversion applications requiring low profile and reliable performance in space-constrained designs.
