DESCRIPTION

PTVS10-076C-SH is a high-current bidirectional TVS diode designed for high power DC bus clamping applications, offering robust protection against transient voltage surges. The device features a 76 V repetitive standoff voltage (VWM) with a peak current rating of 10 kA per the 8/20 µs IEC 61000-4-5 surge waveform, and delivers low clamping voltage of 140 V maximum at peak surge current. Operating over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, the device maintains excellent performance stability with a temperature coefficient of 0.1%/°C and exhibits low standby current of 10 µA maximum. The surface mount package with Pb-free epoxy encapsulation meeting UL Class 94V-0 standards makes it ideal for modern power distribution systems, telecommunications equipment, and industrial DC bus protection applications where reliable transient suppression is critical.
