DESCRIPTION
PWR163S-25-1001F is a 25 W DPAK-style surface mount power resistor from Bourns with a resistance value of 1 kO and ±1% tolerance. It features very low inductance (0.1 µH maximum) and excellent thermal characteristics with a thermal resistance of 5.2 °C/W, making it ideal for high-frequency applications such as amplifiers for audio and wireless base stations. The resistor operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 155°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 PPM/°C, and is electrically isolated from the backplate. Its excellent pulse characteristics and low inductance make it well-suited for current limiting and capacitor discharge circuits, while its RoHS and AEC-Q200 compliance ensure compatibility with modern manufacturing processes and automotive applications.
