DESCRIPTION
PWR163S-25-33R0F is a 25 W DPAK-style surface mount power resistor from Bourns with a resistance value of 33 O and ±5% tolerance. This resistor features very low inductance (0.1 µH maximum) and excellent thermal characteristics with a thermal resistance of 5.2 °C/W, making it ideal for high-frequency applications such as amplifiers for audio and wireless base stations. The device operates over a temperature range of -55 °C to 155 °C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 PPM/°C, and is electrically isolated from the backplate. Its compact DPAK package is smaller than traditional D²PAK packages, and it is fully RoHS and AEC-Q200 compliant, compatible with lead-free solder reflow processes. The resistor's excellent pulse characteristics and high power rating make it well-suited for current limiting and capacitor discharge circuits in demanding electronic applications.
