DESCRIPTION
PWR220T-20-40R0F is a TO-220 DPAK style power resistor manufactured by Bourns using thick film on alumina ceramic technology. This 20 W resistor features a resistance value of 40 O with ±1% tolerance, low inductance of 0.1 µH maximum, and thermal resistance of 6.5 °C/W, making it suitable for high-power applications requiring precision and reliability. The resistor is electrically isolated from the backplate, operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C, and is AEC-Q200 qualified and RoHS compliant. It is commonly used in power supplies, motor drives, test and measurement equipment, rectifiers, and current measurement circuits where stable thermal performance and low inductance are critical.
