DESCRIPTION

SMLJ100A is a transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a surface mount SMC/DO-214AB package with a standoff voltage of 100 V and a peak pulse power dissipation of 3000 watts at 1 ms pulse duration. The device offers a breakdown voltage up to 200 V and typical fast response times of less than 5.0 ns for bidirectional operation. With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and steady-state power dissipation of 5.0 watts at 75°C, the SMLJ100A provides reliable protection against transient overvoltage events. This component is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits in applications requiring compact, high-performance surge suppression.
