DESCRIPTION

SRR1240-6R8M is a shielded surface-mount power inductor designed for input/output filtering in DC/DC converters and power supply applications. The device features an inductance of 6.8 µH at 100 kHz with a quality factor (Q) of ±20%, self-resonant frequency of 7.96 MHz, and a maximum DC resistance of 34 mO. It is rated for 23 A RMS current with a saturation current of 5.2 A and a maximum temperature rise of 40°C at rated current. The inductor utilizes a ferrite core with enameled copper wire and Cu/Ni/Sn terminals, housed in a compact package with maximum height of 4.5 mm.
