The PTL-20-489 is a thermal transfer printable label stock made from B-489A polyester material, featuring a matte finish and a permanent rubber-based adhesive. This label has a total thickness of 0.0051 inches and provides high adhesion to surfaces including stainless steel, textured ABS, and powder-coated metal. It is engineered for a long-term service temperature range from -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C). The material is also resistant to humidity, UV light, salt fog, and abrasion, ensuring legibility and durability in harsh conditions. Its strong adhesion makes it ideal for labeling textured metals, low surface energy plastics, and especially powder-coated surfaces.
