DESCRIPTION

THT-165-498-5 is a Brady B-498 thermal transfer printable label stock designed for wire, cable, and general identification marking. The product features a coated vinyl cloth material with a semi-gloss finish available in white, yellow, and orange, combined with a repositionable rubber-based adhesive that allows for clean removal and repositioning. It exhibits excellent adhesion to stainless steel (70 oz/inch at 24-hour dwell) and polypropylene (63 oz/inch at 24-hour dwell), with a total thickness of 0.0073 inch (0.185 mm) and tensile strength of 55 lbs./in in the machine direction. The label stock maintains performance across a wide temperature range from -40°F (-40°C) to 175°F (80°C), demonstrates good resistance to humidity, UV light, salt fog, and various oils and lubricants, and is UL recognized to UL969 standard and RoHS compliant. This product is ideal for industrial applications requiring durable, repositionable identification labels that withstand harsh chemical and environmental conditions.
