DESCRIPTION
THT-59-486-10 is a Brady B486 thermal transfer printable metallized polyester label stock designed for rating and serial plates that require nameplate-like quality with barcodes, alphanumerics, and graphic symbols. The material features a matte, light gray appearance with a permanent rubber-based adhesive and is engineered for high adhesion to textured metals, powder coated surfaces, and low surface energy plastics. It exhibits exceptional durability across extreme temperature ranges (-40°F to 248°F / -40°C to 120°C), humidity, UV light, salt fog, and chemical exposure, with print remaining legible after 100 cycles of abrasion testing. The label stock maintains performance through various environmental stresses and is compatible with Brady series R4300 and R6200 thermal transfer ribbons, making it ideal for industrial nameplates, equipment labeling, and harsh-environment applications where durability and adhesion are critical.
