DESCRIPTION
3PS-500-2-WT-S is a Brady B-342 PermaSleeve marker, a 1/2" heat shrink wire identification tubing designed for thermal transfer and dot matrix printing applications. The marker is constructed from irradiated polyolefin with a 3:1 shrink ratio and accommodates wire diameters ranging from 0.187 to 0.450 inches (4.75 to 11.43 mm). It operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +135°C and meets SAE AMS-DTL-23053/5C (Class 1) and SAE AS-81531 standards for insulation sleeving and electrical insulating material marking. The tubing exhibits excellent chemical resistance, UV stability, and flammability performance (self-extinguishing within 60 seconds per ASTM D2671), with dielectric strength of 500 volts/mil minimum, making it ideal for wire identification, insulation, and protection in industrial and aerospace applications.
