DESCRIPTION
The AN-2809-AB is a NEMA die-cast aluminum enclosure with integrated mounting bracket, designed for robust protection of electrical and electronic equipment. It features a Type Rating 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 (equivalent to IP-68), UL listed for U.S. and Canada (File #E194432), and is constructed from aluminum alloy ADC-12 for the body and cover with a smooth black powdercoat finish. The enclosure has a maximum operating temperature of 80°C and includes four M4x0.7 x 32mm stainless steel screws for cover assembly, with mounting provisions for PCB applications via M3.5 x 6mm or #6 x 1/4" self-tapping screws. External dimensions are 4.74" × 3.72" × 2.72" (120.5 × 94.5 × 69 mm), and the mounting bracket is fabricated from 0.09" thick aluminum (3003-H14). This enclosure is ideal for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and field-mounted equipment requiring environmental protection and secure component mounting.
