DESCRIPTION
AN-2864-AB is a NEMA die-cast aluminum enclosure with mounting bracket, designed for electrical equipment protection and component housing. The enclosure features a smooth black powdercoat finish and is constructed from aluminum alloy ADC-12 for both body and cover, with a maximum operating temperature of 80°C. It carries UL listing for U.S. and Canada (File #E194432) and meets NEMA Type Ratings 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13, which compare to IP-68 protection standards. The enclosure includes a molded silicone gasket for environmental sealing and is supplied with four M4×0.7×25 mm stainless steel screws with 90° countersunk heads for cover-to-body assembly, torqued to 12 in./lb. This enclosure is ideal for outdoor installations, industrial control systems, and applications requiring robust environmental protection and corrosion resistance.
