DESCRIPTION
NBE-10553 is a non-metallic Style E enclosure designed for electrical equipment protection and component housing in industrial and commercial environments. The enclosure features a solid body and cover constructed from ABS/PC blended plastic with UL94-S/V5 flammability rating, while the optional clear cover meets UL94-0 standards and includes UV stabilization for outdoor durability. The unit is finished in light gray with a gray polyurethane gasket integrated into the cover, and includes stainless steel latches and hinges along with four wall-mounting brackets and M5 x 0.9mm machine screws. It meets NEMA Type 1, 2, 4, 12, and 13 standards as well as IEC529-IP65 rating, providing protection against moisture, dust, and corrosion. This enclosure is ideal for applications requiring reliable environmental protection, such as control panels, terminal boxes, and outdoor electrical installations where non-metallic construction and corrosion resistance are essential.
