DESCRIPTION
CMB-053-27G3N-W-A/05 is a compact thermal circuit protector from the CMB-Series designed to provide overcurrent protection in household appliances, transportation, marine, and power supply applications. This single-pole, push-to-reset device is rated for 5 amperes at 125-250VAC or 32VDC, with a 3/8" 27 UNS mounting hole configuration and white pushbutton. The protector features a dielectric strength of 2500 VAC (1 minute), an interrupting capacity of 2500 amps at 32VDC, and maintains an insulation resistance of 100 megohms. Operating across a temperature range of -10°C to 60°C with a voltage drop less than 0.25V, it meets UL, CUL, CSA, TÜV, and CE approvals including UL1500/ISO8846 for marine ignition protection. The device is RoHS compliant and includes an embossed legend indicator plate marked "Suppl. Prot. press to reset," making it ideal for applications requiring reliable thermal protection with easy manual reset capability.
