DESCRIPTION
RCV-37108935 is a sealed V-Series Contura rocker switch manufactured by Carling Technologies for demanding marine and transportation environments. The switch features IP66 certification with dual seals around lamps and rocker stem, along with a silver plated butt contact mechanism providing reliability up to and beyond 100K electrical cycles. Its grease-less construction enables operation at temperature extremes down to -40°C, and the switch accommodates up to 10 terminals with various illumination and circuit options. The switch has passed rigorous environmental, corrosion, temperature, vibration, shock and sealing tests including MIL Std 202F, MIL Std 810C, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529 and BS 5490, making it one of the most rugged and reliable switches available for harsh operating conditions.
