DESCRIPTION
VJ52S004-9ZZ00-000 is a sealed Contura II rocker switch engineered for demanding applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 sealing for above-panel components, a polyester blend base rated to 125°C with UL 94V0 flammability rating, and a polycarbonate lens rated at 100°C. It is rated for 20A at 12V resistive load and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The switch has undergone extensive environmental testing including MIL-STD 202F vibration and shock tests, salt spray corrosion resistance per MIL-STD 202F Method 101D for 96 hours, and thermal shock cycling from -55°C to +85°C. With its interchangeable actuators and proven ruggedness, this switch is ideal for marine, on/off-highway, armored vehicles, and mining machinery applications where sealing protection and reliability are critical.
