DESCRIPTION
VVCNC00-000 is a sealed rocker switch from the V-Series Contura line, engineered for demanding applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 sealing for above-panel components, with a polyester blend base rated to 125°C (UL 94V0 flammability rating) and polycarbonate lens rated at 100°C. It has passed extensive environmental and corrosion testing including MIL Std 202F, MIL Std 510.1, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490, with operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and actuator travel of 18° for 2-position operation or 9° from center for 3-position operation. The switch is widely used in marine, on/off-highway, armored vehicles, and mining machinery applications where sealing protection and corrosion resistance are critical requirements.
