DESCRIPTION
MOFT50-M12-2 is a through-beam photoelectric sensor emitter designed for use with separate amplifiers (S142 and S143 series) in industrial detection applications. The sensor features a 50 m rated operating distance with a 2° optical angle, M12 stainless steel housing, and modulated infrared light at 880 nm wavelength for high immunity to ambient light. It operates at 3 V (square wave) supplied by the amplifier with a supply current of =50 mA, and includes a 15 m shielded PVC cable with oilproof protection. The device is rated IP 66/IP 67 for harsh environments including water, dust, and steam exposure, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. This sensor is ideal for industrial automation, material handling, and contaminated environments where reliable object detection is required.
