DESCRIPTION
RS1A48D40 is a zero-switching AC solid state relay designed for industrial single-phase resistive load switching with a rated operational current of 40 AACrms at 480 VAC. The relay features direct copper bonding (DCB) technology, LED indication of control input status, and a clip-on IP 20 protection cover for touch safety. It operates with a control voltage range of 4–32 VDC, blocking voltage of 1200 Vp, and opto-isolation greater than 4000 VACrms, with an integrated snubber network for enhanced performance. The device switches ON when the sinusoidal voltage crosses zero and switches OFF when the current crosses zero, minimizing electrical noise and stress on loads. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, self-lifting terminals accommodating cables up to 16 mm², and approvals including CE, UR, cUR, CSA, and EAC, this relay is ideal for industrial automation, HVAC systems, and other applications requiring reliable zero-crossing switching of resistive loads.
