DESCRIPTION
The 01-1104-1-0312 is a miniature fluted head binding post designed for military applications and precision electrical connections. It features a brass body (ASTM B16, Alloy C36000, 1/2 hard) with a polycarbonate head and insulation, rated for 15 amperes current capacity and 1000 VDC working limit. The post is completely insulated from the chassis and mounts via thread mount (8-32 NUT) with an overall length of 1.657" maximum, accommodating panel thicknesses from 1/16" to 1/4". It accepts multiple connection types including standard banana plugs, clip leads, loop wires, and spade lugs, all clamped with the fluted head. The gold-plated brass and phosphor bronze components (per ASTM B488 Type II and ASTM B103/B139) ensure excellent corrosion resistance and reliable performance in demanding military and aerospace environments.
