DESCRIPTION
The EDS105Z3R6V is a Type EDS 85 °C long-life electric double layer supercapacitor designed for integrated circuit voltage backup and initial power delivery from batteries. It features a capacitance of 1 F with an equivalent series resistance (ESR) of 30 O at 1 kHz, rated for 3.6 VDC operation, and operates across a temperature range of -25 °C to +85 °C. The device is housed in a thru-hole stacked coin package (V2 case type) and demonstrates excellent long-life performance, maintaining capacitance within ±30% and ESR within 4 times the initial specified value after 1000 hours at maximum operating voltage and temperature. This supercapacitor is ideal for backup power applications, memory retention circuits, and systems requiring high discharge current capability in compact form factors.
