DESCRIPTION

The 168102J100A-F is a Type 168 metallized polyester radial lead capacitor designed for general-purpose applications including bypass, decoupling, energy storage/discharge, and arc suppression. This capacitor features a capacitance of 0.001 µF with ±5% tolerance and a rated voltage of 100 Vdc, housed in a rugged rectangular plastic case that meets UL94V-0 standards. The device incorporates non-inductive winding construction with tinned copper wire leads spaced 5.0 mm apart, ensuring low leakage and reliable performance. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with appropriate voltage derating, this capacitor demonstrates excellent stability with capacitance change limited to ±2% after 2000 hours at 85°C under 1.25× rated voltage stress. Its compact dimensions (7.2 mm length × 2.5 mm thickness × 6.5 mm height) and low-profile design make it ideal for automatic insertion in high-density PCB applications.
