DESCRIPTION

The 381LR101M400J012 is a Type 381LR snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitor rated at 100 µF and 400 Vdc (450 Vdc surge), designed for ultra-high ripple current applications. This capacitor features extremely low ESR values (1.326 ohms at 120 Hz and 0.597 ohms at 20 kHz at +25°C) and can deliver 0.91 A ripple current at 120 Hz and 1.30 A at 20 kHz when operating at +105°C. The 25 x 25 mm case size (J01 code) provides a compact footprint while maintaining robust performance across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. With up to 2 times the ripple current capability compared to standard 105°C snap-ins, this capacitor is ideal for motor drive bus applications, UPS systems, and other high-ripple-current environments where component count reduction and reliability are critical.
