DESCRIPTION
MC12FA201J-F is a Type MC multilayer RF capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications requiring excellent RF performance. This 200 pF capacitor operates at 100 Vdc with a 1210 case size (3.2 mm × 2.5 mm × 2.0 mm maximum height), featuring extremely high Q at UHF/VHF frequencies and a dV/dt rating of 20,000 V/µs for high RF current handling. The capacitor is constructed with a natural mica dielectric that maintains high Q to many megahertz, is free from thermal cracking, FR4 compatible, wave solderable, and exceeds 2 mm bend test requirements. With a capacitance tolerance of ±5% and operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, it provides rock-stable performance with no change over time, voltage, or frequency. Ideal applications include MRI coils and generators, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, CATV systems, mobile radio, and software-defined frequency-hopping radio systems.
